We just added another new affiliate to our "Fan-site Friends" list, Zelda Informer.

Unlike most other Zelda fan-sites, Zelda Informer focuses on posting articles that are quite interesting to read. For example, they recently posted a Zelda article about the 5 worst boss fights. I recommend to give the article a proper read if you're at all interested.

As of yesterday, we've been added another Zelda fan-site to our list of "Fan-site Friends". This time, it's Zelda Chronicles, a site that mostly covers Zelda news, but I personally prefer its "Zelda Development" page.

Although not a new concept, the Zelda Development page from Zelda Chronicles is a nice collection of screenshots and YouTube videos about beta stages of Zelda games. Personally, I'm interested in seeing how much they can expand this page's coverage with more videos.

No matter how much you like a game, there's always a little something you want changed. And when there's a game being released, you always think about elements you'd like to be included in it. With Spirit Tracks, that's no different.

Nathan from ZeldaInformer has compiled a list with features he wants to see in Spirit Tracks. He addresses flaws that were present not only in Phantom Hourglass, but recent Zelda titles, too, like Twilight Princess.
Most of the things listed goes for other future Zelda titles, too.
That's a welcome read, I recommend.

Zelda and timelines are two topics that go together on every Zelda site, yet they're so far apart in their goal of being close to canon. Some theories have better support with in-game evidence than others, and this is no exception.

The Missing Link was the webmaster of Zelda Blog when it was still around (Zelda Blog was a site dedicated to the different theories concerning Zelda games). He has spent some time writing a lengthy article for our affiliate, Zelda Universe, and it's an article that I recommend reading if you're interested in seeing how the Zelda games might correlate with each other.

Two of our affiliates are having contests allowing you to snag a copy of The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Zelda Capital and Legend Zelda (Hidden Triforce) are doing two different, yet sort've similar, contests. If you have some spare time, check both contests out and try to win a free copy of Spirit Tracks.

One of our foreign affiliates, Z-ELDA, released a flash widget that counts down the release date for Spirit Tracks. It tracks the US release date, as well as the European one (the Japanese and Australian ones haven't been defined yet).

We'd like to add the widget to the right-side of our site, but unfortunately, we don't have room to do so. If you own a site, you're more than welcome to put the widget on it. If a smaller version comes out, we'll try putting it on Destination Zelda. You can see the countdown app on Z-ELDA's widgets page (realize that it's not in English, but the instructions are more than obvious enough to use).

After noticing that there's a new Zelda fan-site in the community, we had to try and affiliate with them. Hyrule Central recently opened, but they look like they'll be having a great future.

Personally, I really like the look of their site - not just the layout, but the overall uniqueness it presents. I'm a fan of new, unique things, or twists on current trends within the Zelda community, and Hyrule Central looks like they've spiced up the cliched Zelda fan-site look. I'm interested in seeing how their site turns out later down the road.

We have affiliated with a Zelda fansite called Link's Hideaway.

Although still a younger site, they have a good amount of content. If the site stays up and running it could be a great site in the future.

Give them a look.

We are happy to announce that we are now affiliated with The Sacred Realm.

They are a great site which used to be called Legends and Adventure, but since then under went a name change. They were awarded the 2009 Golden Light Arrow award for "Most Lively Forums".

Give them a look as they deserve it.

Yeah, well, ZU is moving servers again.

Well, ZU is moving servers right now, so I suppose you should just sit back and wait for it to come back on, but if you insist to have on-the-minute updates about the server switch, check out their Facebook and Twitter pages!
