News and Updates

ONM has interviwed Eiji Aonuma and had him talk about Zelda Wii. What he has said is definitely good news.

Source: Official NintendoMagazine

"It is something we used to talk about with Mr Miyamoto, and he and I agree that if we are following the same structure again and again, we might not be able to give long time Zelda fans a fresh surprise."

"So we have been trying something new in terms of the structure of the Wii version of the new Zelda game this time. I am really hopeful that people will be surprised with the changes we have implemented for this Wii version."

That's right, we're finally getting the changes we've been asking for for so long. Miyamoto's remark that it "won't be radically different" got us worried, but it seems he has changed his mind. Zelda fans, rejoice!

Also, there has been a rumor going around saying we might not be getting to see Zelda Wii until E3 2011. Well, rejoice again!

"I hope that we can show you something at the E3 show next year and it is something we are hopeful will be surprising.” Aonuma added.

THANK YOU, Nintendo! E3 2010, you cannot come soon enough!

I've always loved seeing video game commercials, and I'm glad to see that the first US Spirit Tracks commercial has been aired!

Nintendo knows that this game can be a key holiday title for them - it launches in the first week of December, afterall - and product manager Roger Langford has explained that Nintendo will focus on TV commercials to "engage the widest possible audience".

“The marketing for Spirit Tracks will focus around TV campaign starting around the launch encapsulating the magic and mystery of The Legend Of Zelda, as well as displaying the rich and varied environments of the title itself."

I hope to see many great TV commercials for the Zelda games to come.

Spirit Tracks hasn't arrived at the stores yet, but the Official Nintendo Magazine, in its issue number 50, has given the game its first review and a score: 91%.

Source: Nintendo Everything

That's quite a score, isn't it? But... the two most recent Zelda titles received highest scores; Twilight Princess earned a 97% and Phantom Hourglass a 95%. That's a bit strange, since Fred Dutton, the one who wrote the review of Spirit Tracks in ONM, said Link's latest adventure "is better than Phantom Hourglass".

We'll be sure to keep you up-to-date as new information about Spirit Tracks is released.

No matter how much you like a game, there's always a little something you want changed. And when there's a game being released, you always think about elements you'd like to be included in it. With Spirit Tracks, that's no different.

Nathan from ZeldaInformer has compiled a list with features he wants to see in Spirit Tracks. He addresses flaws that were present not only in Phantom Hourglass, but recent Zelda titles, too, like Twilight Princess.
Most of the things listed goes for other future Zelda titles, too.
That's a welcome read, I recommend.

The Official Nintendo Magazine has answered questions about the upcoming DS Zelda game.

Source: Official NintendoMagazine

The questions mostly talk about gameplay and there are no spoilers concerning the storyline. So don't worry, go ahead and read it, there are some very interesting content there.

So, are you excited about Spirit Tracks? Has your opinion changed since the last trailer? Or are you still not putting much faith in it? Head over to our forums and let us know!

Zelda and timelines are two topics that go together on every Zelda site, yet they're so far apart in their goal of being close to canon. Some theories have better support with in-game evidence than others, and this is no exception.

The Missing Link was the webmaster of Zelda Blog when it was still around (Zelda Blog was a site dedicated to the different theories concerning Zelda games). He has spent some time writing a lengthy article for our affiliate, Zelda Universe, and it's an article that I recommend reading if you're interested in seeing how the Zelda games might correlate with each other.

It's about time we have a new look for the news updates. What we've been using looked generic and old, so I decided to try and update DZ's home page with a new, unique look. Let us know what you think.

It's going to take some getting use to, but I think this style is a bit better at separating updates by the day they're posted.

If you've visited our site before, chances are that your internet browser saved a cache of our CSS file which needs updated to show the new look properly. To do that, clear your cache (if you don't know how, just do a Google search).

Oh, and if you've cleared your cache and refreshed our website, and it still looks weird or not aligned correctly, send us an e-mail with a screenshot of what you're seeing. Make sure to let us know your computer's operating system, which browser you're using, and your browser's version. I want to make sure that as many people can correctly see this new updating layout as possible (remember that older versions of Internet Explorer are outdated and don't support transparent PNG images).

An understanding of these issues can help you to know what triggers your problem and how to avoid thinking about them.

Eating disorders often arise during the adolescent years, when peer pressure leads patients to have a negative image about their existing body shape. They try to find ways to improve their body shape. In the absence of proper guidance and techniques, they often end up destroying their health and beauty.
